reminds me of discipline from the old man - we had a bench just like that - we didn't need to ask the old man if he wanted us to strip naked, it was just assumed - got some real bad hidings from him. I agree that it was a shame that there was a woman present. The father disciplined the boys very well but boys should not be disciplined in front of a woman. I don't agree that the father should have been naked but without the woman there I would have liked to see him make the boys strip right down and remove every single item of clothing for their caning.,
